Win? Adequate reaction?
Whatever. I don't care. Will fall apart as workhorse or similar things though.

Really not sure yet. The platform pedal idea seems stunning but how much will jump on the train? Reminds me of this: How many games will we get for the xbox kinect?
If all the mentioned companies offer cards it will be probably a new market part in pedals...
(was there something similar with the Line6 pedals and third party "cores"?)

That's true about the line 6 indeed, the tonecore concept.. Although that is a digital platform of course..
And they are still selling it..

My question with the Tonecores is how many people are actually using them as designed? Swapping out cores and whatnot.
I would think people are just buying them as complete pedals and not even bothering with having one or two docks for multiple cores.
:idk: just an off-topic thought.

Also, the only third party developer I've ever seen making "cores" is Red Panda.

Is it just me or does it remind anyone else of the "Atari 2600" console? I just dated myself. This is clearly a brilliant idea that has sooo much potential!!! Kudos like Cujo! Yes i am stoned.

i agree with having the cartridges blocked/guarded somehow - it looks like it would be pretty easy to snap them.
it seems as though you've already got the design going, but inserting them into the side might be a bit "safer"?

send me an email, though. i'd like to be involved and have 2 ideas that would be pretty neat and would work in there!

I've thought about plug-in modules for years...cartridges that plug into (and can be combined in) a larger base unit...
