yeah, i've had the same kind of fun/difficulty with my Truly Beautiful Disaster. since there's no explanatory material included with the box or readily available other than a brief description online, it took me a couple of months and a fair bit of research to figure out "OK, this knob is a voltage starve and this knob is..." :idk: and i'm just now getting to the point where i have some idea of what's likely to happen when i dial up a particular setting on the knobs.

wow huge thread. if your looking for a rat, may I suggest the freakshow effects brown rabbit. its like a rat and two other modded rats in one pedal with the 3 way switch.

So I got the Rat a couple days ago just have been playing around with it and like you guys said its pretty damn versatile I really love it. After playing it I thought maybe I didn't need another pedal but then I saw StopRefrencing's "Big Muff" thread which got me GASing for a muff. So I think Im going to head in that direction for my next pedal. These are some I was interested in: Earthbound SuperCollider, Sitori Sonics Harem Fuzz or go big for the Sovtek Green Muff. I'll try and post pics of the Rat later, its the vintage bigger box version.

Checkout the freakshow fx rabbit aka the brown rabbit. Its a rat clone with a 3 pos switch for the other two mods

yea you mentioned that earlier but I already have a Rat so I think it would be redundant wouldn't it? Or something I could get in the past. Im gonna keep my eye out for a Earthbound Supercollider those just look and sound ridiculous.

I was reading page 2 again and i posted. My bad. There are so many muffs in the world. Im building a vintage triangle as soon as my vintage pcb gets here. Check out the muff with tone wicker that ehx makes. Its basically the modded muff thats been floating around and eh started building it.
