WIP Thread!
I didn't see a thread for this already..so I thought it would be good to have a thread where DIY-ers can show their Works-In-Progress, since we already have a 'completed DIY' thread. Also, for those of us (like me) who are not DIYers, I thought we could list requests/ideas we have for DIY projects.
To start things off, I have been kinda mulling over an idea of two DIY projects..I think the schematics for both of these are already available, too..
The first is a modified BassBalls pedal, without the distortion circuit..just the two out-of-phase filters.
The second is a True-Bypass clone of an EHX Bad Stone v.2 (the three knob version with manual sweep capability)

I would share pics of my work-in-progress "rehouse a Crybaby into a 1590BB" dealio but I already took out the trash...
If you want to see a purple sparkly box with a bunch of pointless holes drilled in it now, though, I can hook that up.

Re: WIP Thread!
I'm working on a new wah PCB layout (Clyde McCoy). I found some cool axial inductors for cheap at Mouser. But they turned out to be too noisy to use for a wah.
I can't decide if I want to try to wax-pot the inductor or just give up and redo the layout for the typical radial lead inductors for wahs.
Anyway, here's what the axial layout looks like:

These are just waiting for 1 or 2 more parts...

...to be put into this

Here's another. Still have to trim down the pot, and figure out why it's not making any dirt.

Let me clarify..I'm not planning on building these two ideas..more like 'finding somebody to build them for me' I don't trust myself with a soldering iron..afraid I'd burn the house down.

WIPs... Well there is that bass I need to finis... and I am working on plans to turn a broken Olympia Thunderchief bass into a resonator, I'm shooting for a really odd tri-cone type of idea I'm working on...
I also have a Univox 335 body looking for a neck that will be for a guy I do video work for and play with now and then... and I have a Ibanez Sr885 body and neck to do something with...

Re: WIP Thread!
parallel universe (new one) and a little atari punk console. this is a difficult, almost impossible build due to the small enclosure but I think it will be worth it. its all there but the resistors, caps, 556. I do have the output and the dip14 socket mounted to the protoboard. the parallel universe is gonna wait for 3PDT's and LED's. no board in Parallel Universe yet although i do have all the parts. I need 100n and 10n caps for the APC and I need Knobs for everything.
