yeah, it was tight for me, but i remember being very positively impressed with the Pendulum, which makes my clueless comments above all the more inexplicable

also, even after listening to a bit of that Alexander jawn for a while (in the background) i wasn't really clear on what i was listening to - all my bad tho, 'cuz i think it is pretty clear  i will listen more closely, and to other demos, but i am increasingly a really hard sell on pitch shifting pedals (especially if they're pitching upwards) - i never really liked them too much, but what little charm i found in the past has worn off as of late. that said, i will remain a forever sucker for pitch vibrato and there's also plenty of that on tap :snax:

I'd probably grab one, if it wasn't $300. I'll have to wait for a sale.

pros: 32 presets onboard, modulation+delay+reverb with or w/o pitchshifting
cons: a wee bit more than I'd want to spend on a pedal I wouldn't use all the time. I'm fairly content with the Marshmallow for $200 and less sounds. $300 is a used Pitchfactor

The new Many Worlds Phaser sounds like it has some Bi-Phase DNA in there. ---Did anyone else ever get a SD Polaron? It has some sounds that are also Mutron-esque.

yeah, par for the course for current gen catalinbread artwork, hrrngh
i've got a Polaron - it sounds great; just wish they'd done more with lfo or given users the option with a cv/expression over cutoff option...tho it is very satisfying to run the Polaron on envelope settings after a flexi tremolo, and the key input is kinda useful. :snax:

I just wish I could get the Freakshow Dumpster Fire in a compact stereo pedal with low latency. Cursory viewing of some of the demos of the Fever Pitch don't really do much for me :idk:
hey, look - this guy - i forgot about him and his pro tips to be advanced :snax:

i will continue to watch his videos mostly because he sounds like home (well, close to home - pretty sure he's from North Jersey which ain't quite Lon Guyland, but close enough sometimes  )

If only we could put Uli and Putin in a Russian craft and launch it toward the sun. What garbage people.

Pretty much all of these pitch shifting pedals sound terribly out of tune and warbly to me, sadly. The POG/HOG are still the only ones that I can use and not be annoyed, but they have their limitations and it feels like nobody has really improved on that tech/DSP in almost 20 years now, not even EHX. :idk:

also saw this:

wat

"Behringer takes so. much. crap. from people, but they still keep putting out stuff; it's hilarious - they don't care...they're listening to the positives more than the negatives...."
yep. Uli...= David RobinHood vs. smelly olde synthe snobbe Sheriff Goliath! stay positive, Uli - keep "making things accessible." :/

also, if yer inclined, check out prime synthe snobbe Wendy Carlos back in '71 railing on the then-new Moog, Buchla and Tonus mini-synths:

[scroll to page 300 of the Catalog, not the archive.org browser page 300]

the circular cirkus of cynths - how ever did we end up back here?

also, where are you getting Microfreak from, Deep Thought?

in other Behringer release news:

so, yeah, Behringer has the ability to develop it's own designs, and develop designs that have some functional depth
we're all free to choose, free to comment, free to pull our heads out of our asses

Why take shots at Behringer? It gives your article a cynical and negative vibe. Excite us about new music tech and save us the smack talk For those of not born wealthy, being able to access a 303, or mini Moog, etc., makes us love Behringer even more

I don’t even bother with the copy on most of these ‘synth gear’ sites when I read Behringer. I love the products.

generates more clicks is my guess.

Somehow this was the first video I saw. Maybe I should have looked at more?

Freakshow Dumpster Fire is a lot of fun on drums. Unfortunately the latency prohibits live use.

I feel similarly. I hear them and my ears melt, in a not pleasant way. But I love the HOG: Wish it were stereo and smaller.
