I'd probably grab one, if it wasn't $300. I'll have to wait for a sale.manymanyhaha wrote:(Below is supposed to be a video of the Alexander Fever Pitch, for when the ILF is showing the youtube in the firefox)
Also it's stereo and has CV inputDandolin wrote:not me
hey, look - this guy - i forgot about him and his pro tips to be advancedmanymanyhaha wrote:(Below is supposed to be a video of the Alexander Fever Pitch, for when the ILF is showing the youtube in the firefox)
I just wish I could get the Freakshow Dumpster Fire in a compact stereo pedal with low latency. Cursory viewing of some of the demos of the Fever Pitch don't really do much for me
Pretty much all of these pitch shifting pedals sound terribly out of tune and warbly to me, sadly. The POG/HOG are still the only ones that I can use and not be annoyed, but they have their limitations and it feels like nobody has really improved on that tech/DSP in almost 20 years now, not even EHX.manymanyhaha wrote:(Below is supposed to be a video of the Alexander Fever Pitch, for when the ILF is showing the youtube in the firefox)

Somehow this was the first video I saw. Maybe I should have looked at more?Dandolin wrote:hey, look - this guy - i forgot about him and his pro tips to be advancedmanymanyhaha wrote:(Below is supposed to be a video of the Alexander Fever Pitch, for when the ILF is showing the youtube in the firefox)

i will continue to watch his videos mostly because he sounds like home (well, close to home - pretty sure he's from North Jersey which ain't quite Lon Guyland, but close enough sometimes)
Freakshow Dumpster Fire is a lot of fun on drums. Unfortunately the latency prohibits live use.Dandolin wrote:yarp :/
welp, i did finally check out the Freakshow nightmare shifter and, dag, at least i had a good time with that teaser vidja![]()
I feel similarly. I hear them and my ears melt, in a not pleasant way. But I love the HOG: Wish it were stereo and smaller. The Eristic wrote: Pretty much all of these pitch shifting pedals sound terribly out of tune and warbly to me, sadly.
