I think the only two pedals I bought and sold multiple times are the MXR Carbon Copy Delay and the TAFM. The TAFM I tried out multiple times and never liked the way it sounded - ( same with the fuck overdrive)

The MXR carbon copy delay I had a love hate relationship - hate it because it sounds so good but didn't have enough features to keep my irrational delay gas at bay.

It was so hard to save for the nicer bass because I can flip and buy pedals all day long. Something about making amazing sounds and shoegazing that's musical in itself and I can get lost for days doing it.

Things that I would love to own again and have sold are:

Mountain King Megalith

Dwarfcraft ECT

Devi Ever - Shoe Gazer

Earthquaker Rainbow Machine

Frick, I just realized I’ve had the Avalanche Run twice, too. That’s a nice one...

3 x rainbow machine - had one right when they came out. too crazy. realised you could do the cool slapback/rensonance/chorus stuff, got another and fell in love. he third one was to upgrade to flexi switching from the previous version.

3 x different clari(not)s - dont know why i keep buying this one, i cant make it work for me.

2 x infanem driving notion - perfect pedal in the right setting. now never going to sell.

2 x SSBS Buzzz - sold it bc i needed money, bought back several years later from the same person (which is nice bc its a special stamped version).

2x el cap - back when i was absurdly picky about delay but didnt really know what i wanted i went through a million pedals.

2 x dr scientist rrr - first one got lost in the post after selling it. realised i really didnt want to have sold it anyway so got another.

2 x zoom msg50 - plus an ms70cdr. now probably the longest standing pedal on my board. was too much, now is just enough.

2 x particle - 1 v1, 1 v2. probably going to seel the v2.

probably more i cant think of which is a bit silly

I'm also on my second Wolf Computer, and kinda want a Suneater again.
Someone locally (Calgary) was selling a Wolf Computer clone recently and it was called a Fox Calculator
Those were made by Mr. Wire iirc. Used to be sold through Fuzzhugger.

I’m going to make a clone and call it the Dingo Abacus.

Just last week I got an accountant and mini again, and was like “ehhh, maybe I’ll keep them?”

Haha, madness.

Just realized I wanted an EHX Freeze again - its cheep enough and I have had a great month at my sales job that I am gonna pick one up again. I know all about the quality of some EHX stuff but they make some cool shit.

Kompakt Kassette (bought back my old one).
Fairfield Account (bought twice, sold twice).

That's it. Not too bad at all!

That isn’t too bad. I feel like I keep remembering more that I’ve bought and sold multiple times. You and I have both bought the Accountant twice, but I’m hoping too keep it this second time around. What made you give it a second whirl and what made you sell it again?

It's like my fifth compressor in just a few years. I like to use them, but I always want some other cool pedal I don't really need more, so I sell them to help finance the cool pedal. :erm:

El Capistan - currently on my 3rd, will probably stay this time
Carbon Copy - currently on my 3rd, not sure if it will stay
DD7 - probably have had 4 over the years, all gone
RV2 - sold the first one and bought another that was in better condition, that is gone now too
SSBS Mini - ordered a second one because I liked the finish better, ended up selling both. Great pedal, just wasn't for me I guess.
Red Panda Context - have owned two, both gone now. Also had a Context 2 but couldn't bring myself to like it for a few specific reasons.
Rats - have owned multiple big boxes and a Rat2, all gone now. Decided I didn't like Rat pedals after all haha
