Point being, the man was apparently losing his mind while making the album. Maybe it was because of the hectic nature of the holidays but, again, the music really resonated with me. It's equally spooky/sad/hilarious/serene. I don't think this album is for everyone (if someone told me they hated it, I would be like "YEP") but for those interested in musicians losing their mind while making an album, and that emanating into the art... I would suggest at least reading about this.
This thread is not meant to glorify mental illness (although my title is tongue in cheek). Post albums where the artist was losing their mind and you find that music resonates with you, I guess?
Per usual, not looking for suggestions per say. I'm interested in YOU! Why does the album resonate with you! These aren't rules but...
1. Don't just post an album cover. I find that annoying as fuck. Please give context (namely why it resonates with you!)
2. No Daniel Johnston... please. We're good here. Same with Brian Wilson... we're good. Everybody and their Mother knows about those two. Only post them IF IT FUCKING RESONATES WITH YOU... AND WHY?
OH... BLACK ORCHID btw
