I finally did it! 2 years later and it's done!

I ended up going with standard HSH wiring plus a push-pull pot to split the coils. Kind of messed up because it's split when the pot is down and humbucking when the pot is up, but I don't care enough to go change that. It actually works really well; sounds and plays great! I just hope no one ever opens it up again because the wiring in there is f u c k i n g u g l y
