nobody has mentioned the Shin-Ei Companion circuit yet? and then there's whatever it is that Jorma uses on the Airplane's Volunteers album...an Ampeg Scrambler, apparently?

$250 for a basic 2 stage fuzz...I'm clearly doing something wrong

 I'll figure it out some day...or perhaps, not.

Ps. a friend had a Jerms Muff years ago and it was pretty legit

Don't think anybody mentioned the Dwarfcraft Shiva / She Fuzz yet? That thing rips. Realized the other day that I've had it for five years. Such a neat little box of joy. :!!!:

And yeah, the 88, everything Fuzzhugger has made, Wolf Computers, MASF Epilepsy, Noise Swashes, and still have a soft spot for Fuzz Factories.

The Lamp Shit Box has caught my attention recently. Seems badass?

I thought DC was going to make more of the She Fuzz. I either missed it or they haven't gotten there yet :(

There’s a crazy variety of closely related circuits in the Superfuzz family. Six or eight transistor, bjt or fet input, some ordering of stages, and whether components are matched for stronger octave or unmatched for more anarchic fuzz. Oh, and tone switch or control knob. If JHS has done a multi-SF like their multi-Muff of multi-TS, I might have held my nose and bought one to explore all the variations.

Seems like something we as a fuzz forum could make happen :snax:

on a related sentiment, i really dig the way the ssbs buzzz sounds, and i love having a zillion switches and knobs to tweak. i should probably just start there. i also find the ibanez standard fuzz pretty intriguing

man, brad at creepy fingers might be my favorite builder. had a sugar boost for a long time. all his stuff sounds so good and it's not super pricy on the second hand market.
his super fuzz is awesome but i think i'm more into the regulus 8 right now. im sure most of you guys know about it already but it sounds very similar a companion fuzz to me...which is a good thing imo

Onorable mentions: Earthbound Throat Locust.

I like this thread because I have played like only 10 or 12 fuzzes in my life and now I'm even more confused on what to try next. :idk:

I've been using a Jimmy Behan buzzaround for the past number of years. Bought a new buzzaround from Arcane Analog recently that rips. Here's some quick demos for reference:
