That's a fantastic fuzz for real. I really love all of Tom's designs.. I got an OG phantom Arcade.. also really love the Arc Flash. Damn. I want them all. Didn't he make a tremolo once ?
Tremulust. It was a dual trem and freaking awesome. Still want one...The ABsynth, I had a 5k, was my first purchase when I joined here way back when, and actually one of the first boutique pedals I owned in general. If you ever see a Ben Nerison space painted one, that was probably mine.

and to be more on the nose of OT, the Frazz Dazzler is still one of the most badass fuzzes.

Just got this fuzzface clone. It is on its way.
Fuzzface and TBMKI are my favorite circuits.
For whatever can be gleamed from a youtube video, this is the best fuzzface i've ever heard.
What do you guys think?
There are 50 of these floating around out there (v1), there is a v2 which IMO doesn't hold a candle to it

Definitely check out faceless if you dig mk1/ff types.
There were 5 pedals I refused to put on the block for my sale, 3 of them were faceless fuzzes.

Most fuzzes take some bonding, I end up sitting on them for a while as I dial them in/find the sweet spots.
There's one that really kicked my ass and sounded great no matter what. The ss/bs TAFM.
There are some that call me...morningstaru?

thanks for this. i saw your sell list. that's some high praise for faceless.
will def give them a serious look
i keep hearing about the TAFM as well, so there's probably a good reason for that

It was ludicrously expensive, but I'm very very happy with my sola sound tone bender mkiii hybrid. It sounds quite a bit different from other TBs I've tried (clones to be fair)—smoother/less-static-y/more available bass. I would love to have another one in a not-gigantic box that I wasn't scared to take out of the house.

It's on the doom soundtrack, it would be hard to prove it not to be badass

I can't believe I've been able to resist this thread until now.

My current fuzz loves include:
  • PTD Bone of some sort (currently Minibone GeSi, space permitting Rotobone)
Basic Audio - Bye Bias Ge, Nonts, Super Fuzz, Spooky Tooth, Zippy
    Spaceman Nebula, Spacerocket
    Diablo HEQ-1
    SUF Violet Menace
I have a bunch more fuzzes (because fuzz) but these are getting the most play right now.
