"Them" is still awesome!
I'm not sure if it's "good" or just "unintentionally hilarious". Perhaps it's a bit of both, which makes for a damn fine album.

I don't listen to a lot of Black Metal (probably less than any other sort of "extreme" metal), but they are one of the exceptions.

I just found a deluxe edition of The Puppet Master on the CD shelves that I thought I sold years ago. I could never really make it through the first several songs, but I'll chuck it into iTunes and maybe stumble upon it naturally though!
I love early Mercyful Fate though, and likely 34.2885fasd7% of my CD collection could be considered Satanic to some degree. I'm pretty into black metal so it just goes with the territory I suppose. It's the only form of extreme metal I find interesting anymore really, other than still collecting early '90s death metal, which, oddly enough and completely unexpectedly, seems to get better with age.
