is a wee little Dane. I rather enjoy him. I don't know why,but I have an affinity for macabre-ish,Satanic music. Appeals to my inner child. Anybody else like this diminutive lil' dickens? If not,is there any remotely Satanic music you like?KING DIAMOND

I like early Mercyful Fate, Melissa and Don't Break The Oath. That's some good stuff right there.
As far as other Satanicky music goes, I really only like Deicide and Marduk. Marduk are amazing. Slayer, but I don't think they count really.

i was really into wasp in the late 80's.
they were more gimmicky though.
i'd still give "the headless children a listen" if i still had that cassette.

He's not little is he? I though he was like a professional goalkeeper at one stage. Anyway, Melissa & Don't Break the Oath are phenomenal. I used to get the heebie jeebies listing to the Oath. Fatal Portrait seemed really good at the time, but it's difficult to listen to now...just a really shit guitar sound.
But those early MF albums are superb.

Abigail is one of my all-time favorite cds. I also lOVE the Dark Sides.
Every year for Christmas I put the end of "No Presents For Christmas" where he sings "I'm dreaming of a white...sabbath...ahaha-hahahahaha...whoa!" as the greeting on my answering machine!!

With Mayhem,I don't so much like the music as I do the mystique. Bandmates killing one another and the alleged skull piece necklace and brain eating. Good times
If you like Mayhem there is a really cool documentary you should see if you havent already. Its called Until The Light Takes Us. They played it in Manhattan for a few weeks in a small theater and it was fucking awesome. Its got interviews with Varg from prison and was just a sweet watch. Also the theater was full of metal dudes drinking beers out of brown bags.

"Them" is still awesome!
I'm not sure if it's "good" or just "unintentionally hilarious". Perhaps it's a bit of both, which makes for a damn fine album.
