Well, old-mojo aside the new ones should be strict upgrades over the old ones, so

I got to play better and deeper with it, and tough the Depth may sound really stubble at first, I find out it really helps to shape the sub-bass spectrum.BetterOffShred wrote:The depth is only really noticeable for me when I play my 8 string through it.. but yeah otherwise it's fantastic.

I probably should have kept my Boneshaker and Gonkulator just to have around (didn't cost much/resell for much)
oh well
Still have the $30 Gunslinger at least...Those three pedals would have made a pretty legit dirt setup
for about $100

Here's a demo I made. Because it's a neat pedal.

That's a great demo. I've been meaning to pick one of these up on a $40 whim. This really makes me want one.

Thanks! I'd grab it if I were you, it's officially discontinued. And who knows what'll happen to DOD now that they've fired Tom Cram and friends.misterstomach wrote:That's a great demo. I've been meaning to pick one of these up on a $40 whim. This really makes me want one.

Re: DOD/Black Arts Toneworks Boneshaker Distortion
That's definitely been a concern. Just bought one right now. Cost me $50, but whatever. Should have bought it last year when they were being blown out for like $30, but I'd rather pay $50 now than sleep on it and miss the boat entirely. I've been thinking about getting something with a stronger EQ to boost my main fuzz than what i'm using now and this might just be perfect.oarfish wrote:Thanks! My best pedal is still 3 of these in one box.

i recently fell back in love with my Boneshaker, utilizing it for it's EQ capabilities rather than dirt/gain. i bought another and run two simultaneously. love it.

Re: DOD/Black Arts Toneworks Boneshaker Distortion
Mine's arriving today. Wish it had somehow gotten here yesterday before I had practice. I can't drive with my broken leg so getting to all my gear to try it out is going to be a pain. But I'm excited. Been wanting a change in the dirt department and I'm excited for stacking with this EQ.

It's all about the stacks. Love this device.
