I don't have one. Curious how it compares to the box versions. Let us know if you get one.
Seems like a good idea.

The most "mini" pedal would be the ones built into guitars with switches and knobs built into
the face of the guitar. Hard to stomp on though while you are playing the guitar. ;)

This clean-cut fellow dirtied up his guitar, filthy ring(mod) around the collar:

mini pedals didn’t seem to be much of an ilf thing...
just based on the “weird” type pedals that get GAS’d on around here.

i would like to grab some popcorn to see how another board would react when you question their rational decision making abilities

I have one mini on board (spring) and it's turned sideways between two rows of pedals :idk:

The bigger the pedal, the bigger the penis. Right?

I have a Mooer Tender Octaver mkii. I got it because it sounds almost identical to the Nano POG for less money (with a thin/thick/swell toggle). Plus, the EHX has sidejacks anyways, so this actually saves room.

I dig the Accountant, but I wish they made a bigger compressor. My big toe is larger than that thing.
What would be really cool is if you could get the Accountant built into another big box Fairfield, like the Meet Maude. That would be the only thing that could replace this pairing for me.

The Accountant is a "side effect" of the Meet Maude. Guillaume said it exists because he needed it as part of the Meet Maude. Only thing is, I don't think you can't use Meet Maude separately as just a compressor. The compression is built-in to the delay circuit. :idk:

Aha, I did not know that, although I vaguely remember reading something about Meet Maude and compression once. I'd love to try one eventually, but yeah especially if it had the option of using the compression separately or just have it always on, with a before/after switch.

They're just really cute. That was the deciding factor in my first mini pedal purchase (Ammoon nano looper).

I thought the Mooer effects seemed really novel for the size and price when they were new, though I have never bought one in all the years since they've come out. Since then, the market has become inundated with mini pedals. So the novelty factor is wasted on a lot of redundant and generic effects, and mini pedals really don't interest me, no matter how cute and tiny they get, unless they're quirky/niche effects. There's only a small handful of effects I would actually buy and use, and most of them are tiny loopers/delays and oddball effects like bit crushers.

I know they're all cheap, chintzy garbage, but that's a small part of their charm, believe it or not. I can buy and fit a lot of them in a small area, even with side-mounted jacks. QC on the units is probably non-existent, but they're so inexpensive, it barely even matters. I've been thinking about buying several redundant, cheap, generic Chinese delay and looper pedals (many of them "mini", or just relatively small) and trying to circuit bend the hell out of them, in order to see what additional mileage I can get out of them, without worrying much about frying one or a few of them in the process.

I just use them for noise shit, not "tone sculpting". Bear that in mind.

They're not just less wide, but also less tall. So they're still smaller.

I like them because I have like 2 dozen pedals and the minis weigh less, and my stuff is heavy to carry around. They don't tip over because velcro, or I screw them into place.

Not too many fun weird pedals come in mini size, but as substitutes for the boring but necessary normal pedals, they are helpful for saving space and weight.
