It’s not hate. It literally doesn’t work right.ts50b wrote:I just got mine and I don't get the hate. Looping is buggy, but only really on the overdub mode. Without the looping it sounds excellent to me
EDIT: I guess I was also looking forward to the non-looping features so everything I wanted is there and works well

^Agree. Some times and some modes it behaves better than others, but even in the most restrained usage it will sooner or later shit the bed sonically.
I'll hold off on total regret to see what changes firmware updates can bring, but as was somewhat stated before *release it in beta* is a model that should not be making the jump to the pedal-sphere. This was too ambitious of a project for a pre-sale, and probably they were forced to release it in a more rushed fashion than they would have otherwise.

I made a template for the settings.

Mine is buggy and kinda poppy... the main culprit is that random knob. There should be new firmware out really soon to fix all that.

Another demo. I dunno' if this helps anybody either but I tried to cover some ground including artifacts when using OD mode and time stretching:

I didn't buy it as a looper but I admit that needs to be improved.

I just don’t get why you’re saying what you’re saying. It’s not a quirk in the pedal, it’s literally messed up. Does not function as it was intended. No idea why anyone would embrace that. I’m glad you dig yours, I will mine as soon as it’s fixed. I don’t get writing off the issues with it however.

I'm not writing it off. I agree that function is messed up. I just won't use it for that often. I don't loop per se. I do sound on sound delay stuff but not static looping so it doesn't bug me as much as it does you and others. I'm not saying it's good. Plus I have every confidence they will address it.Jesus Was a Robot wrote:I just don’t get why you’re saying what you’re saying. It’s not a quirk in the pedal, it’s literally messed up. I understand you're pissed, and rightfully so if it doesn't fulfill your needs, but look at it this way:
Would you rather wait another year (since they announced it a year ago) for them to maybe get it to where you want it or would you rather buy it and be unhappy for a month or so and force them to address it now and be very happy in the end? That's all I'm saying. Nobody said it was perfect or right.

I'd rather pay for a pedal that works correct to begin with. I use an Echoplex in my rig and I don't have to download a fucking update to get it to work right.

I have no pleasure for paying to be a beta tester for a company who can't get their shit together.

Valid points (if not a little harsh). No argument here.codetocontra wrote:I have no pleasure in being a paid beta tester for a company who can't get their shit together.
Though the Echoplex is not a fair comparison.
Maybe they'll take back any pedals that y'all aren't happy with.

Did they give an official announcement that they are fixing the issues?? I haven’t heard anything.
Edit! I have bad reading comprehension skills.

I read somewhere that they acknowledge the issues and are addressing them and will fix it in an upcoming update.Jesus Was a Robot wrote:Wait. But everyone who owns one should let them know in the best possible way to reinforce this.
