Then go DIY =] It's cheaper, funny and it will sound as good as the stock AVRI with the same pickups.

Some places are blowing out red witch stuff and I'm kind of tempted by the synthotron?? For £150 it seems like a cool noisebox but I can't find many good reviews of them.

So, what if you just sold your digital tape emulation delay and then a week later you see a super clean Deluxe Memory Man (not reissue) for the same price? Like, $150. I've never even considered a DMM, it's big and power hungry but for that price, it it silly not to? I'll probably talk myself out of it, it's def a want over need thing.

Not so much cables. Power supplies kind of trip me up cause I don't have a standalone studio (just a space :lol:).

I mean it's not sexy, but I do kind of love my cioks power supply. Cables are a chore.

The cost for sexy is antiboner. Could have moar boner pedlols instead. I am about to spend another $120+ on cables.

Pretty much this ^

While the ojai is the power supply I need, I'm not happy about spending that much to essentially do what I can do now. Same goes for the buffered midi splitter I need.... That's $300-$400 just to power pedals and split midi signals....

While I can spend money to make my setup look neat and tidy, I really don't mind having a pseudo cyber-punk tangle of wires connecting and running everything.
