I probably own in the neighborhood of 100 pedals, but pedals are easy to store and don't take up a lot of space. You would honestly never know I had so many if you came into "my studio" ( ).
HOARDERS gives me straight up anxiety watching it. Good Goodness. Especially the people that hoard expired food...fuark... :animal:
Dude, pics.

Sure thing. Just not today (I have a kick ball game soon) and I'll post in the hoarders thread lol. I agree with jrfox92 and fall into the pedal hoarder category.

I've owned all except the Vox. The DL-8 is really good but it really annoyed me that they didn't offer an external tap input. It would have been perfect IMO if they had.

Still have an E2 for looping. The delays are good too but the pedal can be noisy.

Also have a digidelay cause they are cheap and the Hold is awesome, as is the modulated. The delay level gets really loud on that mode and is good for swells. I had read somewhere that Jeff Boyle from Jakob used the the Digidelay.

DL-8 is gonna be the best in terms of sound and options though. I thought the tape, analog and lofi were useful.

Took longer than I thought. I really do have to go but all the pictures are taken and on imgur. Full gallery: http://imgur.com/a/SWKuV. I counted 83 (Danelectro Fabtone not pictured). I do have a few more things on order so I 'think' I will be around the 100 mark by September. I would have liked to post each one in a post and added colorful commentary but I have some balls to kick.

For those wondering...no I am not rich, nor I am happy about this. Spend your money on hookers and drugs instead.

That's a solid collection Shark, I'm disappointed in the complete lack of phasers though :(

Solid advice too.

No, my former partner became one over time.

There's a world of difference between "I have a hundred guns or pedals" and "there's no room to walk physically in the apartment."

Apparently I'm the weirdo for even thinking about it.

(I was planning on keeping the iStomp in any event, so some cool Digi delays would still be available to me.)

Thank you! You would never know it from looking at the graphics but there are (I think) 4 pedals that do phasing. The circuit bent seppuku stuff does weird phasing and random phasing and the Mid-Fi Electric Yggdrasil does Phasing. But 'No' I don't have a single dedicated phaser and that ship has sailed because besides the stuff I have on order (and 'maybe' a geiger counter pro) I don't plan to get or want another pedal . This is not a rational collection by any stretch of the imagination but "it is what it is".

Very true. My space is actually very uncluttered and tidy. Pedals are so easy to store and organize. Straight up hoarding is scary to me.

Mine normally is uncluttered if not tidy per se, sadly I'm waiting on them to do some floor maintenance so half my living room is compressed and I'm not happy.

And I'm somewhere around 50 discrete effects myself, just the ones I remember having.

They're sweet. I love them all but the glitch computer is probably my favorite.

My approach to decisions like this, when I already have a favorite or hard necessity covered, is to keep the fanciest one and the cheapest one. The fanciest because it does all the cool things and if you end up never using it, probably has a good resale value. The cheapest because it's usually worth more to keep than to sell and you've always got something that will meet your minimum requirements.

I've had Delaylab and Headrush. I still have Headrush.
If you've got another top-notch do-everything delay, I can't think of a reason to keep the Delaylab. My favorite thing about it was that it got weird with expression pedals. In digital modes, it made the computer lose its mind. But I think most multi-function delays can do something similar. I got $130 for it on Reverb.
The multi-head mode on the Headrush can be set to make nearly random repeats in a way I haven't heard from anything else. The way that you can adjust the time between heads doesn't seem to be replicated on other pedals. In most other regards, it's a very frustrating pedal and I wouldn't keep it if not for the multi-head thing.
