I know that I can build a feedback loop in a separate pedal, which wouldn't be a bad option as I could have delay tails come through even when the send is off. However I think it would be even sicker to have this right inside the pedal. From everything I have read I only need a 500k Audio taper pot and a normally closed momentary switch. I think I could just wire this between the input and output and I would be golden, my only concern is I have heard that the DMM reverses phase. With that said, will this be a problem?

I plan to base everything off this schematic. Obviously if going in the pedal I would be omiting quite a bit, like the 3pdt swtich and I doubt I will mess with the power section, the led is not that important.
Should I just go with the pedal build and still have a momentary switch for oscillation runaway? Delay tails would be very nice, I can't stand turning the delay off and it killing everything. Any thoughts on this? Am I missing anything huge here?
