Here, clocking on the seq (blue cable) is going somewhere else. The purple cable threw me off at first, but it's just wrapped around the back of the system.

Same thing here, but with R IN also going off somewhere. Output from top module (purple cable) looks to go into the euro rack in the back.

Left a comment on the last video I posted as well
Hey. I see the blue and orange cables from Channel going off somewhere else. It also looks like the purple cable from Mental goes on to the Euro in the back. I see similar things in the other videos. It says in the indiegogo that "no external effects or processing have been used." Just wondering if you could clarify what's going on with cables that come/go elsewhere in these demos. Thanks!

You guys!!

Did I start that?!? :wha?:

I did not mean to suggest that Folktek would pull off something shady.
It's just that my marketing-paranoia doesn't get a whole lot of rest these days.
They are up to no good & always inventing new tricks.
And they keep telling me I'm fat & smelly just to get to my money!

When it comes to marketing, I firmly stand with Bill Hicks:

and George Carlin:

As for pesky patchcabels:

GoGo Gadgeto-Columbo & Ruiner Of Doubts firmly on the case! You guys are Ace! :thumb:

I hate moodswings are awesome! Oh, and I usually post when I'm way too tired...

let UglyColumbo do his detective work. He needed a reason to come out of retirement and you're taking away his purpose.

They are fairly fragile.. i personally wouldn't want to use this live but for experimentation and exploration it's a perfect method due to the insane amount of possibilities it gives you.
This is essentially why I'm not interested. I don't want something that's presented as an infinite universe shrowded in mystery that I'll never fully understand. I want clear definitions, labels, the ability to pair/play/sync/whatever easily with other gear and isn't going to die if I sneeze on it.

Folktek's always failed on all those things, but this is the closest they've gotten for me. Honestly, I think most of their devices would be effected if you gave them a good sneeze. That's my two cents. I'll stop complaining. I'm sure this is going to be an excellent, fun, little noisemaker. It's just not for me.

Fair enough, but everything i've used from them has been a super solid build. The small wires can slide out if you pull them or knock them while inserting others but not from a sneeze or even a nudge. What it provides is more powerful IMO but i am happy my Triad came with two breakout boxes where i no longer have to use the breadboards if i don't want to and it attaches to a standard patchbay. Either way, from what you want, you're right, this isn't for you IMO. I love the experimentation portion of it. I'm not trying to find the same sound a second time and i want near infinite possibilities that inspire creativity so it is for me. YMMV

What if it was just like a massively complex mixer or speaker and all the effects were coming via radio frequencies from aliens in outer space man?

Rewatching the videos I'm pretty sure the outputs of the Mescaline go into a mixer in the eurorack behind and he's just tweaking volumes sometimes.

Really looking forward to receiving this one. The first stretch goal (250 systems sold) is almost guaranteed I think, but getting the second one (500) would be great too. 4 different fx instead of only reverb would be super nice.
