Also a reverb into a filter or in its FX loop is fun and will definitely drag out your decay. I run a Dewdrop into Wonder Filter.

Putting a fuzz/distortion/comp/booster/anything that adds sustain, before an envelope filter, will also greatly lengthen the time it takes for signal to fall below the threshold. Unless you want like a linear fall from start to finish.

I love reverb into a filter. Going to have a custom FSH-1 built with reverb in front. That way I can have spacey shit and a dedicated verb early in the chain.

Yeah, this thread started because I've been liking running a Your and You're before an envelope filter.

I've tried compressors too, but don't really like compressors all that much. I much prefer the compression from fuzz. :idk:

So, I just tried this and it didn't work so well for me. I also tried it with a delay and liked that better. :snax:
