Yeah. I'm thinking of maybe trying out the Novak WRHB in chrome and getting a black pick guard. Then upgrading to a Mastery bridge and an AVRI tremolo.codetocontra wrote:HAWT/10.
Love the white and polished aesthetic.

Just curious if any of you are still waiting on the second invoice? Seeing everyone else's coming in is causing some moderate upset

These are soo rad. Do they make a short scale neck? I feel like I need an aluminum neck musicmaster in my life.

Yeah. Next run I may consider getting a Gibson scale length for my Toronado. Could be cool.

oh man that would be gnarly. Might have to incur some more CC debt. I could go back and look but where are you ordering these from the FB page?

Dude has a square heel T-style neck on Reverb for $800 plus shipping. Not mine, just a heads up.

Re: EGC Bolt-on Neck Projects
Got to rip on this at practice the other night. It's awesome. It's heavy but the way I wear my guitar it did not have any bearing on me whatsoever. I wore it for the duration of a practice, about 90-minutes that night. No issues. Plays awesome.
I am going to mod the Jazzmaster a bit more, however. Really make it the Aluminum Bastard that it is. AVRI Tremolo Assembly, Staytrem Collet and Arm, Mastery Bridge/Thimble set. Trying to decide on a new set of pickups. I want something that will handle gain really well, especially with faster, tighter riffing. I looked at Creamery and that's the front runner right now. Downside is they're closed for a few weeks and then it's still a wait. Would be super into Blk/Tri but they're also closed right now. Could spring for some Novak PAF or WRHB but I don't know...

Re: EGC Bolt-on Neck Projects
Long ago I had Novak rewind my Fender Widerange pickups. They were a huge improvement though slightly microphonic, but it was fun that way. Strongly considering getting one for my neck position if I don't get a Sustainiac first.

You and me both. I emailed Hillary to just ask how far down the line I was and got no response. Guess it'll come, eventually, maybe.
