I agree with Jean's assessment. Seems they are gearing up for a big box. Which, could be coolish, but I don't dig their modulation outside of like 2 things on the Mobius, which I can't even remember the fucking names for.

I've owned a lot of Strymon pedals, I like the dudes who make them, but I've ultimately been disappointed by them.

This one sounds good IMO with bass, but I can get there already with what I've got, so I doubt I'll try it. I may at a shop but I dunno. Probably not.

Those would be Destroyer (bitcrusher) and Quadrature (ringmod).

I don't know. The Strymon sheen or whatever that bothers most, works for me, though I'm kinda in my own bubble/world with my music.

I'm not crazy about them doing drives (I get it - probably a lot of demand). That said, I'd probably check out a midi/bigbox version. :idk:

The El Cap's loop mode is pretty gnarly though. Lofi degradation of fading loops allows your new layers to morph a composition into something new. Plus switching sub modes makes it glitch. I've been thinking hard about picking up another one again but might not in hopes to move forward with gear rather than backwards.

Edit to add:
All the other Strymons don't do much for me. I have fundamental problems with the Flint having stereo outs but it does not pan the tremolo. Like, WTFuck. I had a Timeline for a bit too, and it is a fine pedal, just not for me. Space > Big Sky.
