You know... as someone that worked as a production woodworker for over 7 years... I ask... why not build a wooden box around a standard metal pedal enclosure? you'd get your look and you'd get something indestructible :thumb:
The only issue there would be you'd have to switch the pots to longer shafted ones or use thin wood on top.

It's a possibility for sure! Probably be cheaper than shielding too. The only issue I can think of it the thickness of both could create some issues with stomp switch lengths and jack lengths. They make longer pots that can be cut, so it's not a huge issue but it'd be a pain in the ass.

I'll look into that as well though!

You can get can get veneer in just about any type of wood and it can come 1/32" to 1/8" thick depending on your supplier :idk:

Or you could upgrade to soft switches (ARCADE SWITCHES, BITCHES).
I mean, if you're talking about wood, you're probably not thinking of making them 1590B/125B sized, anyway.
Since I always forget:

 I have always thought arcade switches should be used more.. also I think you guys need to think of a bushcraft line for all those guys that think splitting logs with a knife is cool.. so you need at least one with bark still intact :thumb:
