It's a possibility for sure! Probably be cheaper than shielding too. The only issue I can think of it the thickness of both could create some issues with stomp switch lengths and jack lengths. Or you could upgrade to soft switches (ARCADE SWITCHES, BITCHES).
I mean, if you're talking about wood, you're probably not thinking of making them 1590B/125B sized, anyway.

I have always thought arcade switches should be used more.. also I think you guys need to think of a bushcraft line for all those guys that think splitting logs with a knife is cool.. so you need at least one with bark still intact
