Gift build for a bro. The Pineapple Express. I generally don't do much 1590B work, but I was down to my last enclosure, so I took it personal. Kind of took some planning when it came to the off board wiring.

In a nutshell; fuzz section of the WOW Signal, no LFO. I did retain the filter cap though. That cap value, and a few other values, have been tweaked. Lots of character, and the filter control makes it a real chameleon. I'll post more after I get feedback on it.

Thanks dudes! Really fucking great module. I read Olivier on Muffs saying it bums him out that Clouds outsells Tides by so much. He is a much bigger fan of Tides.

IM, I'm going to get you soldering surface mount.

Do you drag solder them? These look crazy neat for soldering one leg at a time.

Yeeep, all hand soldered. Just need a flux pen, a fine tip, and a steady hand.

I don't drag solder, everytime I've tried that I get at minimum 3 or 4 bridges across pins.

I cover the pads in flux, place the chip, and then put a tiny bit of solder on my tip. I then put down the two opposite corners so the IC is in place. Then I reapply solder to the tip and just go right in, cover the leg, pull out, do the next leg... and so on. Probably not the best way but it's what works for me.

No you are not! I can't even get my paws into a 125B. This is some Persian Carpet level nonsense.
