For analog synths there was about 10x the selection compared to now. I prefer analog synths over digi synths.

Perhaps but there wasn't the appreciation for analog gear that there is now.

This is the golden age if price/availability apply.

Keep in mind back in the day, a lowly Boss chorus pedal was a week's pay on minimum wage and then some.e

This stuff is a pittance compared to what it used to cust, let alone the extra cool stuff.

OK, one year since this last post ... is it the Golden Age now? It seems to get better and better ... there are so many synths I want (and some I want duplicates of) I have trouble deciding what route to go ... Arp Odyssey or Minilogue or Reface CS or Mother 32? It's scary out there :erm:
