EDIT: I got two mini amps that look somewhat similar. One is a tube amp and the other is solid state. Both are from the '60s or '70s and were originally used for editing sound film.
First up: they call these Moviola units "squawk boxes" on ebay. ALL TUBES! There's a couple on ebay, but I even have the odd plug to RCA plug so I can actually hook up a guitar to it.
Dig the knob.
And, one of these; Similar to the above, but solid state and has a guitar jack.

I just tried finding what it sounded like on youtube and found one playing a wire tape recording of the atomic bomb testing. I wonder if you can do a reenactment of the explosion through that amp?
Do you like listening to homemade music? Me too. Why don't you try one of mine?

The solid state has a nice and clean sound to it, even when pushed. Meanwhile, the tube amp has a really nice old-school sound with some artifacts in the signal which make it almost sound like an LP recording. Really dig the demos, man!
