God damn. That sounds great. I'll have to find a time to make ribs when Aen isn't around, as he is mr. picky-pants when it comes to food.

Lamb meatballs with feta and a spicy tomato sauce tonight. Brownies for dessert. And wine, because I am getting sick, so why not...

Classic bachelor chow! You like puttanesca?

I made a pretty bangin pozole last week, used the leftovers to make pozole enchiladas.

Yes, except I don't really like capers and don't particularly care for anchovies. So, in true bachelor style, if I made it, I'd omit those ingredients.

Haha the anchovies are my favorite part.

I have some chicken legs in the freezer, I think I'm going to make some kind of curry this weekend, open to suggestions

Discovered Suan La Bai Cai, a sichuan cabbage stir-fry, in a blog and I've been doing it 2-3 times per week since. If you're vegetarian or vegan, this dish is your new best friend. Really quick to make. Easy to change up too! I've tried it with added tofu, shiitake mushrooms, sriracha in the wok sauce and so on.

Listen to Oarfish, it's heavy.

I usually only eat anchovy if it's in Caesar dressing. Not much of a fishy fish eater.

That looks amazing. Thanks.

I'll definitely be trying that this winter. Cabbage is my "go to" winter vegetable. :snax:

Hmmm I wonder how it is. I made some penne the other day that had been sitting in my pantry due to its gluten-freeness. It was ancient grains / quinoa and turned out to actually be pretty good! I'll find out what it is... meanwhile I wanna know how that stuff ^^^ turns out if you try it!

Non-wheat pastas have improved over the years.

That Banza isn't available in stores near me. So, I'd have to order it online. So, I'd have to order an entire case. Just wanted to see if anybody had any opinions on it before doing that. I'm sure it'll probably taste fine. I can definitely use all the protein from it. I'll probably buy some eventually, but may wait until the autumn to do so. :idk:
