Dang it man. That DBA sounds so neat. I had no idea it had all that extra stuff in it. Still listening to it though, but some of those sounds are pretty awesome!

The tenor sounds neat too.

Yeah, I just dismissed it because it was an overdrive but I found a really great price on it and figured I might as well complete the lineup  I'm soooooooo glad I bought it, it's a textual playground and that envelope tremolo really caught me off guard  Playing around with low gain settings with both od on is going to yield real tasty tasty rewards. Im into stacking it with my other DBA fuzz for the win :joy:

Yea, you know how I am about "overdrive" . I stay away and call the 679 "overdrive" haha. I like it for that trem and light fuzzes...but maybe I am just waiting for that ripplet to show up :idk: . Anyway, good sounds bud.

Hey hey, here is a listen to the Death By Audio Octave Clang. Oh boy do I like this pedal. I've got a nanoverb in front of it and I'm playing my CP Jazzy with Fralin pups.

Man, that sounds wonderfully terrible. The name is very fitting. Not the pedal for me, but some really cool sounds.

I was like "Wow, that thing sounds so different and weird" then I released you had the nanoverb in front. They pair so well! The Octave Clang sounds awesome though. How similar to the Octave Drone is it? Similar in any way (sounds like the seppuku has a little lower eq)?

Ummm....yea, treble, piercing and grating are all adjectives I like haha.

Holy shit, UG! That's my old Octave Clang!
Believe it or not, I used to run a Danectrectro Spring King in front of it.
Fucking apocalyptic when you'd stomp the kick pad!
:doom:

Also, I play a Jazzmaster with Fralins...

Did I get high and sell this pedal to myself? :wha?:

yeah I wanted some more sustain so I threw the nanoverb in front and got those cool resonating low notes, plus I think it sounds like I'm playing with a bow :joy:
It doesn't sound anything like the Octave Drone, it's all treble bite.
