So we recorded about 35 minutes of fuckery with it today. Ill sift through it and find some good shit and post it in the next day or two. It's actually a Boss Rack Delay, not reverb, and it fucking insane.

Thanks. The huge box sounds incredible and stacked with the fuzz from the reverberation machine is insane. Oil can echo is best echo, just an intoxicating atmosphere.TOMKAT_BKLYN wrote:

Re: UG demos Death By Audio Ghost Delay
Hey there, here is a first impression of the Death By Audio Ghost Delay. For this take I'm playing my Warren Ellis tenor, and showing how the Blend knob effects the sound/mix.

yeah its pretty outstanding. btw, i had the amp set up for my mustang to be clean for recording levels and the initial clean sounds before i turn on the waveformer destroyer kinda show how the tenors pup pushes the amp into distortion.BoatRich wrote: Dude that thing sounds gorgeous.
well...i mean...just sayin is all...ya know what with you playin bass and whatnot...ya know and they did ask you to put away the fuzz...and them seppuku pedals just sittin there..and you know, i mean i COULD take a couple off yaUglyCasanova wrote:Well, shit. Yeah, it had a nice gritty clean quality to it. The tenor tuning sparkles so much naturally too which is really cool. Did you order the baritone? I'm debating that and a Sidejack VI for my next instrument.Uncle Grandfather wrote:yeah its pretty outstanding. btw, i had the amp set up for my mustang to be clean for recording levels and the initial clean sounds before i turn on the waveformer destroyer kinda show how the tenors pup pushes the amp into distortion.BoatRich wrote: Dude that thing sounds gorgeous.

no, i've just spent a ton of money this past couple of weeks on pedals and gear and so i've got to cool it for a couple weeks. michael from eastwood did say they were low on stock with the baritones...whatever that's worth. i'm pretty sure after i get my money straight this will be the next guitar I buy though.BoatRich wrote:Did you order the baritone?

Re: UG demos Death By Audio Ghost Delay
I've been loving mine! It's crazy, the amount of sounds you can get out of it. A favourite setting of mine is setting all of the delays fairly close in length, but slightly off from one another. Sounds great. It's nice too, that if you have all of the feedback knobs set to off, that you can turn on one and depending on which... It affects which repeat gets softened. Each one is totally different. It's pretty sweet. My absolute favourite thing, is how it hovers on the edge of oscillation in the most haunting way <3

Damn what a magical combo you've got going on there. Loved it. Really makes me want to make my own multi stage delay like that one.Uncle Grandfather wrote:Hey there, here is a first impression of the Death By Audio Ghost Delay. Awesome! I just subscribed to you.Uncle Grandfather wrote:ThanksTOMKAT_BKLYN wrote:Damn what a magical combo you've got going on there. Loved it. Really makes me want to make my own multi stage delay like that one.. Be sure to search my channel for the red witch Titan, it's another take on three independent delays but it can be ran in series or parallel, and it has an f/x loop so you can put fuzz or etc. on the repeats only. It's a different flavor from the dba and equally amazing.

Hey now, here is a listen to the Death By Audio Intersteller Overdriver Deluxe. I'm not a fan of OD but this pedl has some tasty modes and a nice mean od sound. I'm playing my Warren Ellis tenor.
