Re: BEST SLAP ECHO PEDAL
Superdelay has awesome slapback, but I wouldn't shell out all the money if it was just for that.
I think it depends on what kind of slap echo you want. I personally think that most delay pedals can do a decent slapback though, even the cheapos.

Do you like listening to homemade music? Me too. Why don't you try one of mine?

Re: BEST SLAP ECHO PEDAL
carbon copy's slapback is not very good.
the boss DD series has good slapback, i just hate all the other options on it... hence why i'd go with the super delay...
i'd use that for a ton of shit.

Or if you don't want Digital (not that the PT2399 is the bad clinical kind of digital) -

Re: BEST SLAP ECHO PEDAL
I prefer a good analog with short delay time to get the most out of slapback...something like the discontinued malekko e300 or the boss dm-2.
I'm using the deluxe memory man for slapback right now, with a touch of modulation it really sounds great.
I wasn't crazy about the slapback on the supderdelay, I mostly used it on tape mode c for medium-ish delays.
