Korg Monotron - Analog Ribbon Synth

Post by MannequinRaces »

The Korg Monotron (analog ribbon synth) was introduced in Frankfurt at Musikmesse. It looks like it would be pretty fun! I little limited but still looks like a blast! What do you guys think? :idk:

HELL yea! Looks better than the Gakken.

Sure does. I like the fact that it's not a kit. The ribbon controller also looks better then the Gakken's pen type electrode slide controller.

this sounds like a most excellent deal! I'm definitely gonna have to pick one up, especially for that price.

I don't think they're scheduled to come out until August so waiting will be the hard part!

i generally  ♥♥♥ LOVE ♥♥♥ KORG stuff but lately they've been putting out stuff that's either left me nonplussed or unenthused. that Electribe Ipad thing also looks mega-lame.

For $67, that's pretty awesome. Would work wonders in a looper for some long synth drones.
Do you like listening to homemade music? Me too. Why don't you try one of mine?

Current ILF Love: OHNOHO CHK CHK BOOM, Mellowtone Melx Fuzz 2, EQD Dream Crusher, Devi Ever ID, Dr. Scientist Proto-Miniberator - new vids eventually

some mysteries are best unsolved

I have my limits. I think this looks like a winner for Korg but only time will tell.
