Is it safe? I know that plugging one amp into another always has potential to do some damage, but if you're going from the headphone output rather than the extension speaker or line out, I feel like that might not be as bad? Better get a second opinion, but if it is safe, you can make a bypass box to plug the orange into that allows you to chose either to send your guitar directly into your sovtek, or to go via the orange into the sovtek. :thumb:

Oh yeah, that should be fine, then. I was thinking that it was one of the bigger orange crush amps (didn't catch that "micro" part). I have one of those smokey cigarette box amps that I've done the same thing with. It's instructions actually recommended plugging it in for use as a fuzzbox. I don't know what kind of guts the orange has, but the smokey amp is nothing more than a lm386 IC and two caps (10 uf, I believe...) that's it! So, something like that would be pretty easy to build into a pedal of its own...or you can just use the bypass loop idea. It would perhaps be a bit more useable if you had a true-bypass loop to plug it into that had a clean blend option built into it, ;) (see my clean blend thread) ;)
