I almost just can't ever sleep in an more

I think it's because I get up at 5:40 am during the week [which I DO NOT LIKE], inless I stay up to 3am+ giging hard I just can't sleep in :cry: :wha?: I was up till 2am last night doing a session and I still fucking woke up before 7am :grumpy: :grumpy: :grumpy:

That sucks, seriously, I know the dreadful hours. Hopefully You find some solution. Something else than alcohol & substances. I'm serious. I'd suggest meditating and light diet, taking short (less than 40 minutes) naps is good for You - and You can learn how to fall asleep, for example by light self-hypnosis.

I don't have any trouble going to sleep... And when I have a few days off I gravitate to back to "normal" It's that damn job thing... I need to find me a sugar mama or something :lol: As for the rest: I don't do drugs and I haven't actually gotten drunk in like 7 years.... Now meditating, that is something I really need to get back into.... Thanks for the reminder....[insert DE/FX zen smily :)* ]

Nap in the middle of the day. Some say it fucks up your sleep cycle, but if your sleep cycle is fucked up it will help out.

i get up everyday at 5 am for work. saturday is off and its up by 7... :facepalm:

sometimes, like today, i am lucky and fall back to sleep until 9 or so... :joy:

you might try putting chamomile in your coffee maker(assuming a sleep deprived person has a coffee maker). Use the dried flowers. Helps me sleep restfully and late. Though lately,I have no troubles whatsoever. You just brew it like you would a pot of coffee.

Hmm that's a thought. I don't have a coffee maker [I have a espresso maker....] but I know how to make tea.

I liked to get mine extra strong. I makes my chamomile tea like I make my coffee-4 scoops to 4 cups h2o.

Mud, seriously, I almost never make suggestions like this, but try taking 5-htp. It's only like 10 bucks for a bottle of it, and it helps SO much. Its not totally like a sleeping pill, in that it won't knock you out. But what it does do is chill you out, calm everything down, etc. It doesn't put me to sleep, but it always lets me sleep through the night. It's basically the same as the tryptophan you get when you eat turkey, but in a higher and more easily digestible dosage. You can get it at any GNC or other shop that carries herbal supplements. It really does help. Just a thought ...

Thanks for all the suggestions I WILL try some of them. I almost slept in today... but my drummer/roommate found the coffee grinder..... :mad: :grumpy:
