I quite like 70's silvertone and Harmony transistor amps. They crackle so beautifully. How about you?

I enjoy playing guitar through most bass amps.

I have a Sears/Silvertone 60bxl you'd love. Needs work but sounds great...when it does. I'll post pics soon. Actually have a matching tube 40xl as well :thumb: .

you may end up seeing this answer quite a lot, but love a good Roland JC-120.... the Fender 85 has also been nice to me but only with pedals....

I have a RMI 360 - a 70's Aussie solid state amp with the lushest spring reverb ever except for an AKG BX20 (well that Ive heard). The amp sounds pretty good too, nice and crisp without being too icepicky, but the reverb is what its all about.
buncha stuff...

Marshall MF350.
Cleans are garbage but the distortion channels on that thing have so much freaking gain.
Wouldn't gig with it. But it's one hell of a studio tool. Effortless feedback.
well i guess, but i just don't know.

Fender FM100 head, or the 212 combo. The cleans are awesome and it has a killer reverb.

I have an old Haynes Bass King 2x12 and a Gretsch Safari 2x8.

The bass king hums but has a fantastic raw sound.

The safari is a portable, ac/battery (which aren’t made any more) powered all germanium beauty.
Sounds fantastic, low fi and dirty.

They are fun to record with.
