The VS Thread: Blackout Muskett vs. TeamAwesome Fuzz Machine

Ok... This is the deal... I'm TORN between these two pedals. I need a medium/high gain fuzz to compliment my 33 and Shiva... These two are the sounds that I really like... (Note, this will be used on bass not guitar, but guitarist can chime in )

Things I like about each:

Musket: Muffish and it's got a pregain.

TAFM: Cleanish blend and a character switch.

Help me out, I need to know where to spend my money.... Hook a brother up with some opinions!

I'd go with the musket, but I'm a guitar player. It's a green muff with complete control over the tone
Plus blackout effectors customer service is top notch.

It already has a clean blend, that is where my heart is... If it's Clean Blend vs. Pregain, I think you might win this fight, NOW HURRY UP AND MAKE PEDALS MAN BEFORE I CHANGE MY MIND!

i'm driving to atlanta at the moment... on tour until april 10th. then i've got 2 weeks to build as many pedals as i can before another 2 week tour. fun times!

Personally for bass Id go for the TAFM...The general character of the pedal is a little more unique than the Musket (which I love nevertheless) and the clean blend is genius on bass.

I say the clean blend can suck it. The Musket sounds amazing on bass, no need for a blend.
