lid art database?

Post by blackout_kyle »

As most of you know we try to do a little something unique inside each pedal, whether it be as simple as a colorfully graphic serial number to more detailed drawings (see stormtrooper in charity raffle thread). There are a few of us (with varying skillz) who do the artwork, so that's one determining factor in how detailed yours may be. The other being just general time constraints. Of course, mine are the raddest...

Anywho, we've been toying with the idea of creating a photo database for the website where you'd be able to flip through pics of all of the 1000+ lids that we've done. It would be a big outlay of time spent putting it together - time that could be spent building pedals, so we've been intentionally backburner'ing that project. Before deciding whether to move ahead I'd like to get some feedback on people's thoughts.

Cool idea? Waste of time?

I love the idea, but why not just spare yourself a little trouble on the website end and set it up in flickr?

Do it! I love when builders put extra time into details like that, not many of them do.
