Heh - I just forwarded that video & the link to a guitarist I play with, and he wrote back to say that after hearing the demo, he put himself on the preorder list for an MK2.

I'm thinking that as well. He raised the price from 130 to 200, but either way it's still a good deal. FOUR BOOST?! Fantastic. A lot better of a deal than any other boost.

The guy got right back to my friend and said that he'd have the pedal within two weeks. Psyched!

That's what HE said... the builder's e-mail said that a bunch of components had just come through, so I think he may be doing a batch right now....

CORRECTION: He has parts "on order" right now. So maybe two weeks is being optimistic? :idk: Either way, I hope to hear one of these in person real soon...

I know the builder Soulsonic from another forum... good guy and these are well built effects, he uses some really nice components and boards from what i've seen.

As far as I know he's pretty good with keeping on top of build lists.

total noob question (watch out ):
is "MK2" reference to a kind of pedal? or just the 2ed incarnation?

and what are the 4pdt switches he uses?
http://www.smallbearelec.com/Detail.bok?no=670 ?
now posting as Forrrest.

Well it's the second incarnation of his 4 banger design and I assume he took the MkII name from the Tone Bender just because it fit, not because it's related.

As for the 4PDT he's using a little tactile style switch like you'd get inside a boss pedal and then an external button like you'd get off a standard foot switch to press it.
Like this - http://www.smallbearelec.com/Detail.bok?no=32
& This (but a 4PDT version) - http://www.smallbearelec.com/Detail.bok?no=33

Yeah I was wondering about he 4pdt. When I was referred to one, it was for the intentions of flipping the order of the effect, not on/off. So I'm confused.
