Question for Classic Player Jag and Jazz owners

I know they moved the tremolo closer to the bridge on the Classic Players, but do you feel like this killed the behind-the-bridge-pick-awesomeness in any way? I'm considering a Classic Player HH Jag, but I'm worried it just won't be the same. I swore I'd never buy one for that very reason, but the dual 'buckers & low price are hard to beat

Try one in a store and see how it is. I think the Jag HHs are fixed bridge, though I do see that there are ones with the floating trem. It doesn't seem to different to me, but then again you could always find a used one for a bit less.

The classic player Jag special HH has the floating vibrato, the regular HH doesn't. I don't think There's much difference in sound behind the bridge, just because it's closer.

I had a jazzmaster and I say it doesn't kill the behind the bridge noise action, I did it all the time when I had mine.
