Question for Classic Player Jag and Jazz owners

Post by denhamt »

I know they moved the tremolo closer to the bridge on the Classic Players, but do you feel like this killed the behind-the-bridge-pick-awesomeness in any way? I'm considering a Classic Player HH Jag, but I'm worried it just won't be the same. I swore I'd never buy one for that very reason, but the dual 'buckers & low price are hard to beat :idk:

Try one in a store and see how it is. I think the Jag HHs are fixed bridge, though I do see that there are ones with the floating trem. It doesn't seem to different to me, but then again you could always find a used one for a bit less.
Do you like listening to homemade music? Me too. Why don't you try one of mine?

The classic player Jag special HH has the floating vibrato, the regular HH doesn't. I don't think There's much difference in sound behind the bridge, just because it's closer.

I had a jazzmaster and I say it doesn't kill the behind the bridge noise action, I did it all the time when I had mine.
