3 pedal questions.

Post by htsamurai »

pedal you're most attached to.
most expensive pedal you own.
the most you've paid for a pedal.
the most you've sold a pedal for.
and the most you've seen a pedal go for. (somehow I feel DAM and way huge stuff along with the Klon will be prominent here...)

for me
the Devi Never, crap I love it.
at this point I'm not sure, it could actually be the DvNvr in that idk how much it would cost to reproduce
for a single pedal I think it was $200 for a synth mangler.
idk...I think it was about $330 or so
I've heard of the way huge camel toe going for 5k but the ost I've actually seen was a Klon for 1k :/

pedal you're most attached to: Devi Ever Dual Karaoke Party into Electric Brown

most expensive pedal you own: Blackout Effectors Twosome
the most you've paid for a pedal since this is past tense, then $270 (see above) soon to be dethroned IF the Workhorse surfaces
the most you've sold a pedal for: $200 Dwarfcraft Dream Mangler proto
and the most you've seen a pedal go for: yeah, the prices of D*A*M pedals as well as other "mojo" or "vintage" pedals is pretty ludicrous, especially since i can build a clone that sounds pretty damn close, but i suppose it's pride of ownership, still makes no sense to drop $800 on a D*A*M when you can get that 72 Telecaster Deluxe you were always eyeballing.....

Tie between my Empress Superdelay (first pedal ever) and Sonic Crayon Vibrato (custom awesome). Canadians make great pedals.

Empress Superdelay.

Around $500 (saved for up for an entire year for the damn thing!)

Never sold a pedal yet. Only traded.

Saw an original Dallas Arbiter Fuzz Face go for $3500. Holy shit. Still not as crazy as the legendary Way Huge Camel Toe.
Do you like listening to homemade music? Me too. Why don't you try one of mine?

Current ILF Love: OHNOHO CHK CHK BOOM, Mellowtone Melx Fuzz 2, EQD Dream Crusher, Devi Ever ID, Dr. Scientist Proto-Miniberator - new vids eventually

pedal you're most attached to:My Red Llama, cuz that thing saw me through King of the Blues
most expensive pedal you own: The most expensive of what I paid for is my Crybaby at 60 bucks, the most expensive I think is my Morley wah which was like 100+ in it's day but I got it free so heh :D
the most you've paid for a pedal: Yeah, 60 bucks for the Crybaby.
the most you've sold a pedal for: 90 dollar EAR OD 808, although the DigiDelay is the most expensive of the lineup at 120 dollars...
and the most you've seen a pedal go for: Original Mint-condition vintage Ibanez TS808, followed by a Klon Centaur, or maybe a Ring Stinger (those are the pedals, don't remember the exact dollar amount.)

Maybe it was $2500. For some reason 2 grand is what stuck in my head.

As for the ID, it is quite  but the wife is still very  :grumpy: :shoot: about me dropping that sort of coin on it.
