Movie Title Question
Does any body remember a movie - i think it was filmed in the 80's - about a town in which the children all turn bad and start forming a gang and causing shit around the town? I think there's a famous actor in the film, quite young... like Keifer Sutherland or someone.

just bad kids doing bad shit, i'm pretty sure. geez, i wish i could remember what it's called... it was very well known at the time.
the kids were being ignored and/or neglected by their parents and began to rebel. eventually all the kids were rioting and the parents were amazed and terrified at what the angry teenagers were capable of.

I figured it out! The film is called "Over the Edge" and the young star I was thinking of is a 14 year old Matt Dillon.
It was filmed in the spring of 1979 and pulled a few days later due to concerns that audiences would riot.
