Guitars/Basses you'd like to see made.

Post by Blurillaz »

Whether they're signature models, variations on models, or reissues, post your ideas and ramblings here! :joy:

Epiphone Casino Jr.
Not much to explain, standard Jr. model but a hollowbody.

Danelectro Shorthorn Double Neck Reissue (Guitar/Bass version)
I just really want to play one of these, only seen originals in pictures. I'm not a big Wilco fan though I think Nels Cline has one of these, or maybe he has the guitar/baritone version.

Tele Deluxe Studio Custom Craziness
Not sure what to call this... Basically, take your average Tele Deluxe but
-3 humbuckers
-individual coil taps for each pickup
-phase reversal switch
-overall parallel/series switch
-parallel/series switch for each humbucker
-volume and tone for each pickup
-tone bypass for each pickup
-push-button killswitch for "those moments"
I imagine it would be the most diverse guitar for recording, but it would be really hard to use live...

Tele Deluxe with P90s and Jag Tremz.
SG with Jag Tremz.
Six string Jag bass, I don't like the look of the Bass VI.
Les Paul Jr. w/ P90 in the neck instead of bridge, and Jag Tremz.
Musicmaster with Jag Tremz.
Bronco with Jag Tremz.

Basically, Jag tremz make me want has.

i would love another zebra wood firebird, but with P90s not the mini humbuckers.

i would love a silverburst SG standard with P90s.

i would love an alembic tribute, but with burled buckeye not cocobolo.

:hobbes:

oh yeah, an RD with P90s!!!

1. A Jazzmaster or Jaguar without all the switches. Two pickups, a master tone & volume, and a pickup switch. With a tune-o-matic bridge. Basically a Telecaster-ized version of a Jazzmaster :thumb:

2. A Les Paul w/ P90's that I don't have to sacrafice a limb to buy :whateva:

Let's take this up a notch... Try to build your custom guitar and then post it here so we can all see!: http://www.yajimastringworks.com/tct/yswtct-kisekae-e.asp

Unfortunately, there's no offset body shapes available but there are the other fenders (basses too!) and gibson, ibanez, jackson and a few others.

Silverburst ES-335 with a Bigsby and P90 pickups. Perhaps a varitone switch as well.

Semi Hollow (with F-Holes) Forest Green Jazzmaster with a wooden pickguard, 24' scale length bounded ebony neck and matching Forest Green 70's large headstock. Tune-O-Matic bridge and Jazz/Jag trem system along with Jazzmaster pickups. With f-holes and either block, trapezoid, or my own personal "swirl" abalone inlays. Also a killswitch.

Hollow (with F-holes) Shell Pink Jazzmaster with a baby blue pickguard, yellow chicken head knobs, 24' scale length maple neck with abalone block inlays and a large headstock. Bigsby trem with a TV Jones Classic Plus in the bridge and a lipstick/tube pickup in the neck (or reverse, I can't decide). Killswitch would be cool as well.
