Goatkeeper update...

Post by pothole »

From Austins website..

Jan. 26th, 2010 - Happy New Year and thanks for your support in 2009. I'm once again running Lightfoot Labs fulltime, hopefully permanently this time. New goatkeepers with diecast enclosure and new circuitboards are still a few months off, but I'm trying to get them out as soon as possible. New pedal and two new eurorack synth modules in development, for release later in the year. Also have a prototype GK2 pedal up on ebay here: ebay auction. All of the final sale price goes to Partners in Health.

Best news I've heard all year! :yay:

I already got some moniez set aside. I'll have to be sure that I don't touch the GK fund. Ultimate test of the will.

Austin mentioned the other day that the Goatkeeper LFO plugged into "some eurorack modular stuff" was working really well...then I see he's building up some modular components. Very interesting indeed. Guess I'm going to have to buy a damn eurorack now.

It takes time to do things right. And obviously, Austin does things right the first time. I guess the new pedal, and I quote, "has true stereo channels and will be in the hammond 1590DD. Also, there will be a strange way to control part of it. :)" Can't wait to see what the hell that is...whatever it is, I'm getting it. Even if it's designed for a tuba I'm getting it.
