When I first found this board, I was excited for the opportunity to talk shop with a group of ppl that had a fuzz addiction and were gear heads and builders. I knew that here, I'd learn about all kinds of unique effects that were being built by underground, no-name builders. I certainly wasn't disappointed.

But the thing that surprised me was the closeness of this community. I know a lot of you guys are really tight with one another... probably been friends for a long time, had good transactions and similar interests. This in itself, is not terribly unusual. What blows my mind is how quickly y'all accept new kids into the fold. I've had great (and sometimes, touching) conversations with ppl, trades and transactions with some super friendly, trusting individuals - a couple of whom were happy to try to work something out just so the trade could go thru... without really a thought for profit like so many others.

My first post on I <3 Fuzz was a tiny little blurb in the Introduce Yourself thread about me being lost in a desert and finding this oasis. At the time, I didn't realize how true this was. Although we don't all agree on everything and although we sometimes fight and bicker, I know that in the end, it's nothing but love. I'm here to thank all of you, and a few people in particular, for being excellent people. This board has set a new standard of online interaction for me and I intend to give back all of the kindness that has been extended to me.
