What's up with Mustangs being better at Gliding than Jags?
So, a while back I played a show in which I used my friend's mustang in an alternate tuning for a shoegazy song. It was so much easier to do the glide thing by using my hand to move the tailpiece thingy on the mustang than by using the trem arm on my jag.

Idk my shoe-gazer friend plays a mustang and feels the same way. Probably where the trem is in relation to where you strum on a guitar.
Youtube Channel?

I don't like how the vibrato bar sticks when you pull it up though. :/

I like the trem on your Jag better than Mitch's stang. Maybe its in relation to where you strum. Sell your jag, buy a stang and drop some jag pickups in the bitch.

wowwee!i love hot pants!

i prefer grabing the stangs tailpiece over a bar too, but it dont stay in tune for shit. if any yall got problems with that on either the jag or stang wrap the bridge post with electrical tape to fill the void between post and cup.

I dunno, I find the Jag/JM trem much easier for glider stuff...maybe I'm just used to it by now. It stays in tune like no other and if I strum by the neck pickup the trem bar is in the perfect place for me to hold.
