Cheap and there's loads of them.
Anyone use them?
If so, what are the ones to go for and what are the ones to avoid?
I used to have an Arion distortion, so long ago I don't really know if I'd trust my judgment on it...

Re: Arion pedals?
i have an Arion Bass Distortion. i don't really use much. been looking at the tuner & the EQ lately. the modulation ones are the ones to look at though.
the prices on ebay seem a bit over-priced now but it is still possible to get one for a decent price on craigslist or something. some people will still ditch 'em for like $15.
i missed out on a DCF-1 recently. that is the one i really want. mega-rare. i never see it.

I have the Octaver, it pretty much IS the Boss OC-2.
I don't really use it that much (probably because I'm not a fan of octavers in general), but it's nice to have around and DEFINATELY worth the price.
The -2oct is pretty much inaudible on bass, but I haven't tried it on guitar, so yah.
Oh, I've also been on the look out for the Phaser because, supposedly, it can be bent in the most amazing of ways.

Re: Arion pedals?
the chorus is the big famous one which does great chorus and leslie sounds
others to look into are the sad-1 delay (which uses the boss dm-2 chip i think) and the sfl-1 flanger (which i have and love because it does the negative regen a/da sound)
