Does anyone know of a forum that's as cool as ILF, but about audio recording?

No I don't but I'm sure there are a few around here that be able to discuss the subject. As long as it isn't too computer based I can answer a some of the basics, or get a answer from my dad as he has run a small production studio off and on since 87. My skills are more on the production side then engineering but I know my way around if I have to.

As for computer stuff I finally found a platform I like [logic] so I'm in the learning stage with the program still.

Try the dub-scrolls I lurk over there occasionally, they seem pretty friendly and the site's very user friendly.

I don't know anything about computer based recording, so I can't really help out there. I use a yamaha aw16g for all my recording stuff and it's a challenge, it's like trying to surf the web on an apple II. It works in theory, but actually getting anywhere with it takes time.
