Two fuzz pedals and a mixer

Post by ech0es »

Does somebody ever tested this idea ?

You divide your guitar signal into two different fuzz pedals and go inside a mixer, then into the amp ?

With this configuration you can have a big low bottom sound AND a precise high sound for example, mixed, to have the better of the both world.

I don't own a mixer but I'm sure it would work. Fuck dividing your signal though.

I've thought about this kind of thing for a while now... unfortunately my board is bulky enough as it is. But it should absolutely work. I think the logistical trick would be in finding a small enough mixer.

I have one of those, I use it to run effects in parallel for a different kind of sound.
Like 2 or 3 chorus pedals each set slightly different.

Works great for that type of application.

I've split the signal with just a mono-input/stereo-output pedal before, yes... I combined my Big Muff Pi with various other dist/fuzz pedals... Sounded cool!

You can do the same thing wit pitch shifters... It's a lot of fun, haha.

Which pedal do you use ?

Could you trace the schematic that you used ?

I'll see if I can draw it. It's stupidly simple.

i think i know how it's build, it's just to check :thumb:

my project is to build something different: a PAN mixer, who acts like the ernie ball 6165

Build into an expression pedal, your sound goes into the ouput 1 at low settings of your expression pedal, and more you press the expression pedal, the volume of the output 1 decrease, and the volume of the output 2 increase.

it's like a balance
