Asheville, NC and Helene

heyo! So I live in Asheville, NC and if you haven't heard we got hit pretty hard by tropical storm Helene. I was super super lucky but lots of people were not. Lots of local and national charities to give to if you want/can. BeLoved Asheville is a good local one and World Kitchen impressively has been here since the weekend with food and water. Most of the area still has no power, cell, or internet and no one has running water. It's quite a party! lol

Hey, Jon! Glad to hear you're OK. Yeah, I'm good. We're on the east coast. All we got is a lot of rain and a little wind.

Hey glad you’re ok. My wife’s brother and his wife live there too. We just did a water delivery for them and their parents. Awful stuff.
They have a studio space (fabric) in the river arts district and even though they were second floor, they still had over a foot of water. It is trashed, they probably lost everything. But they’re safe.

Oh no! Sorry to hear that Aedes. The RAD was completely under water. Do they have internet or power back yet? I have both if they want to use either for a bit in a non public spot.

Glad to see AMT doing that! Hopefully Aluminati survived, they are in an area I don't think flooded.

It's going! Things are much better than they were and downtown area is opening up. Outlying areas hit the most are gonna be rebuilding for awhile.

Speaking of AMT, they’re going to be in Raleigh on Saturday for a “pedal popup” with a bunch of nc and sc builders— amt, caroline, alexander and others . Raffle for Beloved Asheville too.
