Good topic, I miss my Torn's Peaker. I don't think any of those others really stick to the original TP circuit, which I would settle for a clone of over something that is not like the original, as it is a pretty unique circuit. Carcosa and Satisfaction Plus are both insanely good though, and I have been bitten by the vintage bug of late, getting gassy for every fuzzrite, scrambler, buzzaround, beebaa, zonkmachine etc I lay eyes on anymore...
I suppose it could be Devi-ish given the similarities of EHX’s LPB-1/Muff stage building block to the Electra distortion and Bazz Fuss blocks that are recombined and abused in most Devi stuff. But I had seen a stage-by-stage that seemed more like a deviation on a Big Muff (or really more like the Muff-ish Colorsound Tonebender). But I dunno, demos weren’t doing it for me.
Satisfaction (original and Plus) are Bosstones, Carcosa is an FZ-1S inspired thing (and the S is important), and the Terminal is based on the Companion fuzz. So different though it may be possible for you to pull similar sounds between them.

Cool. Thanks for the circuit references. I enjoy the Carcosa a lot lately. Yet a bass demo or two got my gas rising toward the Satisfaction Plus... The controls seem functionally identical... DE TP is older love, but I'm curious... I got a Hyperion I modded to switch among Dark Boost - Hyperion - 33...
I am really happy since swapping out the Cock Fight Plus for the box version. The fuzz is very vintage flavored, sounds nothing like a muff and a lot like Maestro/Fuzzrite; supposedly it's based on the Holy Stain fuzz though, which is a fuzzface. Also found out through youtube comments that there is a dipswitch inside to disengage the wah and make it fuzz only.
The ever-shameless (but at least they have good taste) Demon FX has a clone of the Fuzz Factory 7 now...I'd probably check out some devi clones if start making them, and I would absolutely love a miniaturized TP or Soda Meiser too.
